- Prepare surfaces for painting by scraping, sanding, and filling holes and cracks
- Apply paint or other finishes to surfaces using brushes, rollers, or spray guns
- Mix and match colors to achieve desired shades and tones
- Follow blueprints or instructions to determine the scope of work and materials needed
- Repair and maintain painted surfaces by removing old paint, cleaning, and applying touch-ups
- Use power tools and equipment such as sanders, sprayers, and ladders to complete projects
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects
- Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean work area

Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a painter or similar role
- Solid knowledge of color theory and basic math skills for measuring and mixing paints
- Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions accurately
- Proficient in using power tools and equipment related to painting
- Familiarity with different types of surfaces and materials, such as stucco, plaster, wood, etc.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills to interact with clients or project managers
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, climb ladders, and lift heavy objects as required
